The action at F1 car-racing circuit gains momentum with Britian’s electro-funk legend Jamiroquai joining the exciting after-race concert line up.
Their performance on October 30 will complement this year’s top acts Beyonce and Aerosmith at the inaugural Ethihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The latest addition to the four-day sporting festival should hardly come as a surprise since Jamiroquai’s lead singer Jay Kay is a motor-car enthusiast with a penchant for collecting Ferraris.
The group, who has sold more than 21 million copies world-wide, is no stranger to the F1 circuit either.
They whipped up musical frenzy earlier this year in April at the Malaysian F1 Grand Prix and hope to create a bigger stir in their second outing.
The concerts are exclusively for Grand Prix ticket holders and will be take place at the Concert Arena, Ferrari World in Yas Island.
All those who have purchased a 3-day F1 Race ticket will be able to access all four nights of after-race concerts, and if they have purchased a 2-day ticket they will be able to attend the concerts on October 31 and November 1 only.
The concert organisers maintain that no additional tickets will be sold for any of the four nights of shows.
