Dubai: Shaikh Saeed Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended the fourth annual charity gala for the orphans of the Dar Al Bir in Dubai, held under the patronage of Shaikha Hind Bint Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum, wife of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The gala was attended by 200 orphans, who are sponsored by the Dubai-based charity home Dar Al Bir. A number of senior officials and sponsoring firms also attended the event which started shortly before iftar.
The gala held under the title Mother of Giving offered a large number of educational, religious and entertainment activities.
Shaikha Hind donated Dh1 million as an Eid gift to the orphans.
