Im currently working on behalf of a junior exploration and investment business who have a requirement for a General Manager to set their gold mining business in motion. They have an impressive portfolio of exploration and investment across a variety of sectors; this is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing company at the start of a new venture.
The role will have responsibility for overseeing the daily operation of the mine. The primary focus will be to ensure production targets are met whilst maintaining the operating budget.
The successful candidate should have at least 10 years experience within the mining sector, with a mining or process management background. Experience of a startup phase would be beneficial but not essential.
The role will operate on a 140/40 roster, and therefore overseas candidates will be considered. Excellent salary and additional benefits apply.
