Enoc And Du Make A Difference To People's Lives With Dsf Grand Prize

UAE; Dubai, March 16, 2010: Mohamed Zain Al Abdin was delightfully surprised when he received a phone call to say that he won the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) grand prize sponsored by ENOC and du. A resident of Dubai for five years, Mohammad, an 18 year-old Pakistani student won through his father, who bought AED 200 worth of non-fuel products from an ENOC retail outlet in Al Qusais.

The grand prize, a luxury apartment in Jumeirah Lake Towers, was the highlight of the New Life campaign of ENOC's unique campaign titled, ‘Win the key to your new life'.

Commenting on his win Al Abdin said, “When I received the phone call that I won, I thought that one of my friends was pulling a prank on me because I wasn't the one who purchased the tickets. It was only when I called my father to tell him the good news that I believed we had won because he was the one who put our names there.”

Al Abdin family plans to live in the apartment for some time before they sell it to pay loans that were incurred by his father as a result of the financial crisis.

“My father was in the heavy construction business, but the financial crisis hit my father's buisness badly. We plan to sell the house shortly after sometime and give the money to my father as a token of gratitude for what has given us in life, “ Abdin added. “I thank God and thank ENOC and du for coming up with such promotions and giving out such valuable prizes that make such a big difference in people's lives – I feel truly blessed.”
