Dubai to welcome 12 of the world's best photographers for annual event in March
(Dubai, United Arab Emirates – 08 February, 2010) With just a few weeks to go, the countdown is on for the annual Gulf Photo Plus (GPP) event to be held 1st to 6th March. Now in its sixth year Gulf Photo Plus which will be held at Dubai Knowledge Village, is the region's only hands-on photography event where participants can learn from the best in the business.

According to organiser, Mr Mohamed Somji, many classes have already sold out.
“At the end of January and based on ticket sales, there has been overwhelming demand for portraiture workshops, lighting classes for beginners and advanced photographers, as well as fashion and photoshop.” he said.
“We have assembled a team of 12 of the world's most talented photographers who are not only gifted in their profession but also skilled at passing on their knowledge. The concept of the event is to promote photography as an art and provide a platform for people in the Middle East to learn new skills,” he added.
‘PhotoFriday' grows in popularity year on year. The event which will be held on 5th March features a choice of 16 different lecture topics (across 4 sessions), mini-workshops, product demonstrations, huge discounts and exclusive promotions.
