UAE, Dubai, Monday March 5th 2018:Friday March 9th will see the UAE Cycling Federation’s2-stage Dubai Eye 103.8 ‘UAE Road Cycling Championship’crown its Inaugural Emirati and Expatriate, Men and Women champions, as well as the stage’s place-getters, at its closing Dubai stage.
To be raced over 65 kilometers on Dubai’s roads, with the Dubai Police managing rolling-road-closures (to ensure the safety of cyclists competing in the Championship), cyclists will be escorted from the Dubai Sports City residential community, south-east along Hessa Street, past The Trump Estates, at Damac Hills, out toward the Al Qudra roundabout and then return along the same route, returning to Sports City.

The Championship isopen to all amateur and experienced cyclists across the UAE, aged16 years and overwith age category glory for males and females up for grabs. The challenge event, within the Championship sees all finishers receive medals, while the Dubai stage-winners and the overall Champions will be recognised at the final stage. Stages are timed using ProChip by Sports Timing Services, the lowest accumulating time over the two stages will decide the Dubai Eye 103.8 Inaugural UAE Road Cycling Championship (2018) Champions.
